Create an ASP.NET MVC Web App with Login, Email Configuration and Password Reset

Want to create a web app? Here’s how to do it. This tutorial will show you have to build an ASP.NET MVC 5 web app that comes with email confirmation, password reset, and login page using the ASP.NET identity membership system.

First, install  and run Visual Studio Express 2013 for web or Visual Studio 2013. Also, install Visual Studio 2013 Update or higher.

Then create a new ASP.NET web project, then select the MVC template. Web Forms also support ASP.NET Identity, so you can follow the similar step in web forms app.

Leave the default authentication as Individual User Accounts. If you like to host the app in Azure, leave the checkbox checked.
