When designing a MongoDB schema, start with a question that you’d never consider when using SQL. What is the cardinality of the relationship? You need to characterize your “One-to-N” relationship with one-to-few, one-to-many, and Â one to squillions. This depends on what type of format you’ll use to model the relationship.
